2024 Giving update

MissionWay Family,

I am always amazed at how the Lord uses your faithful generosity to fund the mission of our church. I am also grateful to our staff and volunteer leaders for helping us keep expenses as low as possible so that we have money for the things that matter most.

To that end, as we have prepared the budget for 2024, there are several rising costs that are out of our control, and we wanted you to be aware that the need for weekly giving has increased this year. Please see this note from our MissionWay Finance Team:

"After our Finance Team set and approved our 2024 budget, we learned that our rent expense for 2024 is increasing due to inflation in Common Area Maintenance (CAM) costs being passed along to all tenants in our shopping center. As a result, the new giving target is $9,777 per week to meet our expenses.

Our Finance Team also notes that we are running $6,500 behind our target (as of 2/6/24), even without this increase, so please continue in the faithfulness in giving which is MWay’s hallmark."

We trust the Lord to continue doing what He has always done in providing for us, and we know that the primary means He uses to do that is the members of MissionWay! Thank you for your continued support and sacrificial service in giving financially to MissionWay!
