COMMUNITY IMPACT

  • Serve our local community by meeting the needs of our neighbors.

  • Use these service opportunities to be a witness to the love of Jesus to those whom we are serving and to share the Gospel with them.

  • Current local partnerships:

    • Brooks/Bartram Lakes Assisted Living Facility

      • Encouraging residents through group visits every other month, talking with them, singing hymns, having Bible study, and making crafts

      • Connecting with a resident one-on-one on a regular basis, reading to them, talking with them

      • Distributing small gifts or cards to the residents throughout the year

    • Care Portal (Foster Care Ministry)

      • Meeting specific needs of families facing the possibility of children entering into foster care or families who are currently fostering children in their home (ex. bring a meal, get groceries, donate diapers, a dresser, mattress, clothes, etc.).

      • Connecting with the family to build a relationship

      • Supporting a young adult aging out of foster care who needs items to help them succeed in getting a job and established in an apartment (laptop, bike, furniture).

    • Isaiah House 117 (Foster Care Ministry)

      • Meeting the needs of children at the time when they are entering the foster care system

      • Collecting specific items to fill a bin to go directly to Isaiah House
