serve local afghan refugees

We’re collecting items for local refugees.

In addition to fervently praying for everyone in Afghanistan, we have an opportunity to tangibly help local refugees as they are moving to our city. Many of these are teenagers who will be assimilating into local high schools.

We are collecting clear backpacks, small USB drives (inexpensive, 32GB), and ear buds for these students. You can drop your donations in the bin in the lobby on Sundays. Our goal is collecting 30 of each item.

All items will go to Luther Social Services to help these families and students as they arrive. Contact Jamie to learn more.
